Every offer you receive validates the work you've put in. It means a program took the time to evaluate you, saw something they liked, and extended an opportunity.

But here's the thing: whether you should publicly announce offers depends on your sport.

In football, sharing offers is part of the culture. Recruits announce offers as they come in, build hype around their recruitment, and it's not just accepted, it's expected. Coaches, fans, and recruiting services track it all. If you're a football recruit, Offer Edits were built for you.

In other sports, the culture is different. Basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, and many others tend to be more private about the recruiting process. Some coaches prefer you keep offers quiet until you're ready to commit. Announcing every offer can come across differently than it does in football.

Know your sport. Know your situation. Talk to your coaches, your club/travel program, people who've been through it.
